A friend took me here one evening as she said it was one of her favorite places and she hadn’t been there in ages. Neither of us have been back since. The atmosphere is nothing to rave about but that’s common up here in AK. The service was just so-so but it was the food that made the biggest negative impression. I had the lasagna and my friend had a shrimp in cream sauce with pasta. If I was forced to guess, I’d say all of it came out of the freezer. The lasagna was shockingly flavorless. It looked depressing on the plate and the taste didn’t improve my impression. My friend’s shrimp was definitely frozen (no one eats frozen shrimp up here, Alaska has an awesome commercial shrimp fleet). And the pasta was underdone and out of a box. Walking out, we felt ripped off at paying for such substandard food.

Horrible survive jennie was our waitress had a family of 11 went there for a birthday party it was horrible she had a bad attitude and ruin the birthday party she when we asked her to do stuff She complained my ants boyfriend ordered coffee with creamer and the creamer wad rotten and the waitress said it was just Frozen but you could smell that is rotten called to talk to the manager and they said that they couldn’t hear me and then when they finally heard me they put me on phone with a chef the food was great horrible service will not b going there anymore
The server was friendly and attentive although I felt she was stretched thin with the amount of tables she had to cover. The side veggies (broccoli) are frozen and had absolutely no seasoning. You could easily, and we did, squeeze the water from the lifeless assortment. The side pasta had a store bought Alfredo on it. It taste bland!! The same with the risotto which was way over cooked. Two people at our table enjoyed their stuffed shrimp although they commented that it was salty. My veal parmesan was store bought, chewy and breaking was soggy. I ate two bites before deciding that if I wanted to live I should stop. Do not go here. A few years ago yes it was delicious but now the food taste equivalent to a frozen TV dinner.
Waited 20 minutes at out table and still no service. That’s ridiculous. We left and went to Sorrento’s. Way better service and better menu.
Always come here when I have a craving for pasta. The service was good, as was the food. I think the calamari recipe changed, but it was still delicious. Can be loud in the dining area near the front door, but towards the back, and just on the far aside of the bar is quite enough to enjoy the visiting with your companions. I usually order the Shrimp Toscana, but the ravioli is great too.
We had a wonderful time with amazing food! We will be back!
