Great place for coffee and other coffee variations and the different baked goods are a positive. Positive energy all around and the artwork as well as the community to comes to this place is just a treat in itself to watch I am saying this for the time period of 7:30am to 8:30am for the most part when I show up. In any case, prices are reasonable and the company is not unreasonable so all around a good place to stop if you are shopping or need a snack.
Sidestreet Espresso. Love this little hidden gem in the downtown area of Anchorage. George and Deborah, owners and baristas, are the heart of the place – friendly and interesting, but most of all interested in their customers and the community. George is a talented artist and knowledgeable about so many topics. Coffee is great, the conversation is even better. Don’t miss this when you’re in town!
Lovely Downtown Coffee Shop. This place is amazing. Their coffee and food are wonderful, the owners are sweet, the place is full of art and creativity. Their menu options and baked goods are all fresh and made there. I always get the soup when I go there, they always have something new and interesting to offer. They also have gluten free bakery. I like the local, down to earth feal. I’ve also really appreciate the music they play and the art hanging on the walls. This is my favorite place to have coffee in Anchorage.
Excellent coffee. Who downgrades a place just because it was not open on the day you drove by? Wanker!
What are your hours?. I’ve driven by at 8:15 on a weekday and the place is dark and closed, lazy man’s hours..
Feels Like Home. Side Street is one of those comfortable and welcoming local places where you feel more like a friend than a customer. Deb and George, the owners, are lovely people who serve good coffee and food along with their personal warmth. They seem to know most of their customers by name. A very genuine place.
