We tried to get a table for three here, but apparently that wasn’t possible. My wife, son and I stoped here on our way through Anchorage to try to get something to eat during our short layover. We had been there several times before, and the food and service were never great, but the beer had been OK. This time, the hostess told us that there were no tables for three, but they had tables for two and room at the bar. We decided that my son and wife would sit at the table and that I would sit at the bar, but when I got to the bar, the bartender told me that we couldn’t split our party, and refused to seat us. They had numerous open tables for two, and a number of seats at the bar, so it was not an issue of being short on places to seat people. The bartender was not only unaccommodating, she was sarcastic and rude. When I asked to speak to the manager, he was no more helpful than she had been, although less abrasive.I can’t speak to the quality of the food with respect to this occasion, but on past visits when we had eaten there, the food was greasy and poorly done, even by airport standards. Their beers are ok, but nothing special. Anywhere else in the airport has comparable fair to offer.We won’t ever eat here again, and I would not recommend that anyone else does either.

Server took over ten minutes just to give me a menu. Then no water. Then after I finally ordered he brought me the wrong thing! And – no scotch egg. Will not be going back again – and I travel here often. Will find fare elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Great place to chill between flights and after dealing with pedantic steroid users on connecting flights from California.. The atmosphere is comforting and relaxing.The bar and tables were clean and sanitized and quickly readied for the next guest.The staff was very attentive and incredibly fast for an airport location.The food was well prepared and actually quite delicious for an airport location.The beer of course was amazing. After spending more than 07 mos in the mid east, it was incredible with the perfect pour, cold draft. The quick serve was much appreciated! Many thanks for a nice break between flights and I’ll be back on my next trip through ANC.
Check the growler before you leave. Had lunch here on 15 June 2014 and took a 64 oz and a 27 oz growler full of beer with me. When I got home and opened them they were only half full and flat because the bartenders obviously hadn’t beer trained on how to fill them. Spent about $80 total for the beer and growlers, what a rip off.Food was good.
