Souper Bowl is located in the food court at the 5th Avenue Mall. Primary offerings are noodle bowls and sushi. Bowls are offered in 2 sizes. You choose dumplings, wontons or seafood. Then you add your choice of noodles: ramen, udon or rice. The soup comes with bean sprouts, carrot, spinach(?) and broccoli. An array of condiments such as soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, vinegar, sweet pepper and hot pepper sauces are available so you can season the neutral-flavored broth to your liking. I got the daily special of regular size wonton with udon soup and 4 pieces of volcano roll. My husband tried the regular seafood with udon. We also shared 3 shrimp summer rolls. Total cost=$19.25. Verdict. Not worth the $$$. The volcano roll was basically a California roll topped with mushy halibut and orange plus green roe. The summer roll did not have much flavor. My husbands soup had a few nice pieces of shrimp and some minuscule particles of scallops(?). This place seemed popular…not sure why. We got a large quantity of food with not much flavor.
