I really wanted this to be a super-great place for brunch. The reviews were lukewarm, but I decided to give it a try anyway. It is such a nice restaurant with good service, but the food itself was amazingly mediocre. Challah French toast should be divine. It wasn’t. I’ll give it one more chance… Lunch next time.

Wonderful atmosphereI would recommend making reservations, being that there may be a long wait time… I love the background music. Very tasteful. Love it.

Underwhelming. It’s like the Spenard Roadhouse menu with upgraded ingredients. It’s not bad food, but for the price I expected more. It’s a nice atmosphere. I have high hopes it’ll get better with time.

Make sure you pay attention to the drink prices before ordering, as they can charge up to $19 for a single glass of wine.As for the food and overall experience, fairly mediocre. The atmosphere was upbeat with good music. The server was efficient but not very friendly. There are probably better values for your dining dollar elsewhere but its always a good idea to try a new restaurant at least once.

The few dishes I have had here so far are pretty good. I really like their Reuben sandwich. I always sit in the dinning room area and like booths. They have a weird thing where every other booth does not have any cushion’s on them so you are just sitting on solid wood. Maybe it’s temporary but not very comfortable.

We were told to wait 20 minutes for breakfast. She text us, nice feature, but then said she forgot we had a baby and it would be a few. After 15 more minutes, they were cleaning the table, in the meantime they sat a party of three at another table. Then finally after 40 minutes i said to seat us and they can clean the table whenever. They sat us, with a booster seat in a table that was a bench seat and a drop off at each end. By then the baby was so hungry we had to leave. Tjis is the second time the service sucked. Will not return. !!!@

Love the atmosphere (although it can get pretty loud), the food, and the cocktail menu. I have been there for breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner. This review will be a bit disjointed as I recall my visits and orders randomly. Sorry, but it’s late and you’ll get the gist. :-)Go early or prepare to wait. I arrived for dinner at 5:15 and the wait was already 20 minutes. But, we sat at the bar and the time went by fast.If you are there by 11:30 for lunch you should be okay. I’ve eaten at the bar and in the dining room. The service has been excellent every time. They have the best fries in town. NOT FROZEN, made fresh there. The fish and chips are great….not too much batter or grease. Calamari was cooked to perfection. The eggs benedict wasnt the best I have ever had, but was pretty good (I ate the whole thing). One daughter really liked the burger, and the other daughter really liked the avocado sandwich. Once I had what they call The Perfect Plate (or something like that) for brunch. It was AMAZING! I asked for my eggs to be not too runny and they prepared them perfectly. The carrot cake is outstanding. They only take reservations for parties of 9 or more. boo. They are spendy. Dinner there for myself was $50 with tip. I had a gin and tonic, salad, entree and dessert. On the coffee/cafe side they seemed a bit disorganized. But, the place is still working out the kinks and training employees. The barista did a good job with my simple americano on both visits. The quiche is very good but they warm it in a microwave, which is fine but the heating is uneven. Both times I have ordered quiche it was cold in the middle so asked to have it reheated, and they did so happily. Cheerful, good customer service. I look forward to returning and trying other items on the coffee side. The pastries look amazing.
