Hearty food in massive portions. A great breakfast spot – we’ll definitely be back! Only negative was that one of the waitresses was fairly loud about fussing at the other staff, much too loudly to be professional.
So good! Came in Sunday morning and it was packed, but they move people through quickly with quick and friendly service and great food. The waffle was fluffy, the bacon was crispy, and the coffee was fresh. Defiantly love coming here for breakfast!

Could be GREAT with a few changes. This cozy family style restaurant is friendly, efficient, and has been a favorite place to eat for our family. However, we’ve recently begun going to other places. Southside Grill serves traditional meals but offer NO gluten free dishes or substitutes. With so many other options in the Anchorage area that are gluten friendly we rarely frequent this past favorite place for breakfast.
Great food, been for breakfast and lunch, would assume dinner would be great!!! But fast and inexpensive food.
GREAT find! Came for Sat morning breakfast. Superb. We split the Spanish skillet and it was way more than enough. Everything was good! Glad we found this off the beaten path diner. Will come again!
A Gem for Sure!. A great no-frills greasy spoon on the Southside. Great service, low prices. Heard this place gets busy on the weekend, but was empty when I was there yesterday morning. Had the biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns. Yum-O! What sets this place apart from other diner-types is that it was CLEAN and maintained. A BIG plus in my book. I’ll be back
