Always a good place to eat lunch. Crunch roll is very tasty! Quiet and very clean. Definitely one of my favorite sushi places in anchorage.
We had a party of about 20 colleagues, one server managed our order like a boss. The sashimi and such were beautiful and delicious. Fantastic service, atmosphere and food!
Favorite sushi place in anchorage! I have tried a lot of there rolls and meals and they never disappoint! Plus they have great sake & fried Oreos!
Tuesday FTW. There are so many sushi places in town, it’s not hard to come by some amazing decadent raw (or cooked) fish, but the service and portions or the stuff they give you along with your sushi (miso, salad [the dressing, really], noodles) is rely what can make or break a place for you. I’ve been to Sushi and Sushi only a couple times, and it was always worth returning, but tonight they were my saving grace! It is hard to find a place open late on a Tuesday night to get that fix when you’re having a craving only sushi can subside. I walked in five minutes to closing for a to go order- they took my order right away with a smile, and it was ready in less than ten minutes. The server Chandler was not actually my server (not getting my tip) but she handled everything except actually pushing the buttons on the computer. She is amazingly friendly, not letting the time affect her service what do ever, even when I wasn’t technically her customer. Sushi and sushi- you have class and wonderful food. Kudos
Not the best, not the worst. The decor is far better than other sushi restaurants but the food is average.
Good Place. Went there and pleasantly surprised. Excellent sushi servings artfully crafted. Being from the East Coast I wasn’t familiar with this particular menu but I kind of figured it out and was satisfied with my choice, I had the Samarai salmon with jalepaneos ( a first). Try it.
Great Food – Terrible Service. We had a decent-sized party and ordered a whole bunch of different sushi rolls so we could all pick and share. This was hands down some of the best sushi I’ve ever had in Alaska. However, despite the great food, my drink wasn’t refilled for almost an hour even when I asked, our food took over an hour to get out to us, and when we asked for our checks we were told to wait and it took another 30 minutes. When our server finally did come in with our checks she snapped at us for having stood up and confusing her – we were getting restless at that point. The food wasn’t cheap by any means, but not – overly expensive. I would say go sometime when they are nice and slow if you want to try them, they do not have the staff or experience to keep up with large orders or busy crowds. Unfortunately because of my last visit, I will not be returning.
