Ordered from them for a couple years. Good food, but prices went up. Called back to cancel an order after the price was quoted as twice what it normally is. Hung up on us 3 times. No more business from me.
Not enough Food. We often tell them not put noodles in our food, Mongolian beef, but they always do. They also never put enough food in our meals. This means that we have to pay extra money to get extra food. We end paying a large amount of money at the end of the day. They do make really good food exept since they give a low amount of food, it’s not a reliable place to eat.
Ridiculous raise in prices.. We have been ordering from here for many years and always been satisfied… Except the last time. They have raised their prices and added different sizes of their take out boxes. What we have been ordering for years, that was around $65, was now well over $100! Even getting smaller sizes of each dish was still around $85. Around $20 more for much much less food is not okay. Before, we had plenty of leftovers but this last time, we barely had enough to go around. Disappointing since we’ve always enjoyed their food but we will be finding a new Chinese take out restaurant from now on.
Worst food I have ever had….and I’m not picky. Food was old over cooked and nasty I will never order from them even if they paid me cash to eat it.18 Nov, 2014The worst food i have ever ate!!!. I’m not a hard person to please but mc Donalds is way better. my food was so hard I could not eat it. I got sweet n sour pork. so hard my kid could not chew it and choked. plus delivery took a hour and a half and food was cold. online it said total was 30 ended up paying 40 plus a tip for the worst food ever. pissed me off and ruined my night after a long hard day at work. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE EVER AGAIN. THEY WILL GET A PIECE OF MY MIND.
This place has gone downhill!. Years ago I used to work near Sweet Pink Pepper and liked to drop in for a quick bite to eat. Prices were decent, atmosphere was always a hole in the wall but their food was freshly prepared and reasonably good. I recently was in the area so stopped by. The only thing Id give a positive rating to was the customer service of the cashier when ordering and paying. The food was mediocre but even worse was the atmopshere. After I got my food, the staff in the back, a man and woman, both began yelling very loudly at each other, literally at the top of their lungs. Although they were speaking Korean I have no doubt their dispute was most likely peppered with cussing if their volume and intensity was any indication. They were so loud I actually wondered if it was going to get physical. The cashier reminded them to keep it down because they had a customer dining in the restaurant but it didn’t do any good. This went at least 20 minutes or longer, no joke. At one point, the man (presumably the owner or manager) came out and began aggressively yelling in the cashiers face, very rude and disrepectful, in full view of the dining area. Despite this tantrum, the cashier maintained composure. After this aggressive outburst the man stormed out of the building. I have never seen such unprofessional and out of control conduct in my life. These folks dont seem to care about their customers. I began to understand why I was the only person dining in after this experience and after reading the other reviews. Doesnt sound like the first time anger management has been a problem. This will be my last time at their place of business. I can handle the hole in the wall vibe but not the disrepectful and aggressive behavior.
Never again!. My wife and I have been ordering from these guys for nearly a decade, but never again. We ordered tonight (9/13/15) @ 19:00, and were told 30-45 minutes. It took the driver (the manager) 65 minutes to deliver, we had requested hot mustard and chop stick s, of which we recieved neither. I had ordered a side of fried potstickers (gyoza), and had requested steamed potstickers with my wife’s entree, while I got an egg roll. My wife ended up getting fried potstickers with her entree, and everything that was fried, both the potstickers and egg roll tasted like the fryer oil was weeks overdue for replacement, and left a foul, burnt oil taste on the tounge. I called to complain and was told the manager would call me back in ten minutes (it was 20:15 at this point). After 30 minutes I hopped in the car to drive down there and still had to wait until 21:15 when he returned to get a refund and some attitude.
If anybody wants to order Chinese food DO NOT order from The Sweet Pink Pepper!!! The worst customer service I have EVER in my life had! They messed up my order, refused to admit that they made a mistake, took 2 hours to fix their mistake, and hung up the phone on me. Ridiculous!
