Got teriyaki and I felt pressured to order when I wasn’t really ready. it was ok not super worth the price they’re charging. Good clean dining area.
Teriyaki has no vegetables. Probably costs 2 dollars for them to make, but sells for around 10 bucks. Rude workers.
Great food and great price. I have been waiting for a great sushi place that delivers and it always comes fresh and in a timely manner.
BEST meal in town. My husband and I have been going to Tempura regularly for over a year now. We eat there at least 4-5 times a week on average because the custom service is stellar and the food is the best around. The price points are ALWAYS reasonable and in the probably 100 times we’ve ordered our ordered there we have NEVER had a bad meal. The staff makes great suggestions as to new things to try and always remembers that we like extra sauce on the side.I can’t say enough good things about Tempura Express. Honestly, if I could just take every single person I know to eat there once they would be lifelong customer. The best things on the menu? Easily their Tuna Sushimi (generous sizes and always refreshing) and their beef teriyaki. -Your fans from Reka 🙂

I use to like this place but I have changed my mind as of today. I arrived at 12:00 and it is now 12:50 and I still do not have my food. You would think that they would expedite the order since people generally have a one hour lunch. I will probably not rerun here again.
Love this place. First and foremost, the owners are delightful and kind. They value your patronage and this shows inThe service and food. The rolls are yummy, in house sauces are AWESOME and they won’t sell you a bottle of it or tell you what’s in it! The tempura and miso is so/so but if you go just for the best priced rolls in town, it’s a great lunch/dinner. Cant hit the mark with every entree, but you’ll leave this place smiling. Pick up and delivery is also very thorough, they don’t forget anything. Sushi is usually a treat for me in Anchorage because of the price and my sake/beer tab but this is affordable and delicious.
