The place was clean and inviting but everything was bland and had no flavor. Plus the 5 people that came in after me and my girlfriend were served first. So if you like being served last and bland food this is the place for you.
Meh…. I guess I should start with the food. Street tacos with rice and beans were what I expected; simple and good. Tomatillo wings were a mistake. Over fried, dry chicken; covered in a cold sauce completely lacking flavor. The atmosphere was embarrassing, and I’m glad my girlfriend and I were the only ones inside. I’m assuming one of the employees were using a phone/iPod to stream pandora throughout the dining room. Their music selection fell short of anything resembling music played in a Mexican restaurant. Quite frankly it fell short of music period. I heard the ‘N’ word more times than grains of rice I had on my plate. We ate tacos while being serenaded to P****, F***, D***, and lyrics about bitches and cocaine. The only sensoring that existed was the frequent interruption of a text message arriving to the device. This place didn’t provide me with anything I can’t already get at taco king for less money. Correction: I now know what ‘Truffle Butter’ is. Thanks urban dictionary!
