Never again. This is the second time Texas Roadhouse has disappointed me in two months. I figured that I should give the establishment another chance because I believe everyone deserves a second chance. The food was just as bad as the last time; steak was chewy like gum and I wouldnt even take it home for my dog. The wait staff passed by multiple times and didnt refill my wifes drink. Did I mention the state of the restroom? My five year old son didnt want to go in because there was trash and urine all over the floor; reminded me of a college bar bathroom.I will NEVER go back the this establishment, Texas Roadhouse is garbage.

Not very Texas in Alaska. Texas Roundhouse in Alaska, not so Texas….first the peanut shells should be all over the floor like they do in Texas as this is where I’m from and know very well…lol second a steak should be charred not burnt…and the vegetables should be al dente not raw…especially after being drenched in clarified garlic butter… and omg the greenbeans tasted like liquid smoke and if you know Texans…they don’t do liquid smoke anything….and you need some hamhocks in there…I won’t be going back any time soon…but the bread was good…service was ok…but could be better….

Texas Roadhouse. Wow these places rock, I have ate at both and the service is unbelievable, I mean they say hi thank you for coming and I mean everyone, they say bye and thank’s for coming have a great evening. Both times we were immediately seated, waited on immediately, drinks at the table within a couple minutes. The sweet Rolls and cinnamon butter are a great starter, you don’t even need an appetizer with those rolls. Then theirs the bucket of peanuts ass well as an empty for the shells. The food was good, steaks cooked to order. All in all a pleasure to eat their. But it’s the service that just kills every other restaurant in this town, those others and you know which ones I’m talking about don’t even compare. You can’t go wrong here, go and enjoy maybe the best dining/steak house in town.

Good food but the service could be better.. I really enjoy the food, but like most places in anchorage the service is starting to go down. I think the servers get overwelmed by the amount of customers, and hardly any of the servers participate in the cowboy dance experience.

OK overall, but a top notch chain. In Anchorage dining, there are two tiers: local restaurants and chains. I’ve never understood Alaskan’s infatuation with the chains, but they come in droves when they open.Against all the great local options we have? Texas Roadhouse gets a solid B- from me. Against the other chains? I’d consider it an A!My wife and I basically got the same thing: Chicken and pulled pork. Both were very moist and not overly sauced. Salad was fresh with great dressing and the baked potato was perfect as well. Though, stay away from the buttered corn and green beans, unless you don’t mind Del Monte canned vegetables.I don’t understand the criticism of their local beer selection. While they have some mainstream brews, they also have a great selection of Alaskan beers (not just Amber) and Denali Brewing Company Chuli Stout, Twister Creek IPA, and Single Engine Red. Aaaand they already have Sam Adams Oktoberfest on draught, so it’s kinda worth the trip for 22oz of that. One thing to consider is that the crowd is decidedly white trash. Might’ve been the night we went, but if your expectation is Sullivan’s Steakhouse, keep movin’.

Texas Roadhouse date night. My husband and I ate here for date night today, we like to share our food at restaurants, he ordered the 23 oz porter house steak, it was amazing, so tender and cooked just right, I had the king crab legs, they were delicious, how ever they werent scored at all and it was a little challenge getting to the prize , I pricked my finger a little on one of the prickly legs.. how ever I love crab and it was worth it. The drink I ordered was a virgin daiquiri of some sort was way too sweet so I ordered a sprite and mixed it half and half and it was delightful, the house salad wasnt too impressive, but not bad either, I may try the Caesar next time, we ordered the deep fried pickles, my husband enjoyed them, I found them to be a tad bit too salty for my taste.. I am a cattle company fan and usually order the special meal deal for two and you get an ungodly amount of delicious food, I was thinking that it would be the same here, how ever to be honest , my husband and I were so thankful that it wasnt, we were able to focus on the high light of the meal which was the steak and crab legs instead of feeling like you had too much to eat by the time your entree arrives, and leaving like the blue berry girl on the willy wonka movie… The atmosphere was nice, employees were cheerful and broke out in dance from tie to time. Pleasant experience, if t were the first date, there would definitely be another. Next time, I may try an adult beverage and see how that goes. My husband went on line and found out that it was best to use the call ahead feature so that you do not have to wait 45 minutes. It was nice to get right in… I’ll be back but next time I will pass on the sea food and indulge in the fresh cuts of delicious steak and ribs.
