Just don’t do it.. I’m a sucker for Thai food. I got the pad thai. It doesn’t smell right….or taste right. I’m 3 bites in and leaning towards throwing the rest away and getting yogurt. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere, anywhere else.
The food was not as good as expected. The Chef usually does a good job but it was too salty and the noodle was too chewy. I ended up throwing the food away. The front cashier, brown haired cashier was very forgetful. She embarrassed my son by calling him back and accused him of not paying for his food. He gave the lady a $20 bill and she gave him $8 and some change. It is really sad that the cashier made a mistake and couldn’t admit it and accused him of not paying. It’s too bad that some people are catching amnesia before she hits menopause. But bad food and very bad poor service equals bad place to eat.
Lunch in the mall. I met my husband for lunch at the mall and opted for Thai Garden. I have eaten here before and found their Larb Chicken to be fair, if nothing special. Today I had the green papaya salad. It was awful. The only flavors were the sourness of green papaya and the overpowering salty fermented flavor of (way too much) fish sauce. It was sour, salty, and fishy without the balance of sweet and spicy. It came with overripe sliced soggy tomatoes and a big chunk of raw cabbage. It was probably the worst thing I have ever had at a Thai restaurant.I also had spring rolls which are consistently fair. For the record I have eaten green papaya salad at other restaurants. I would avoid this menu item at all costs.
