It’s just a buffet sushi joint. I felt deceived by the incredibly positive user ratings, and I’m really not sure what all the hype is about. I guess decent food is pretty hard to find in Alaska.
Best meal deal in Alaska. This beautifully decorated buffet restaurant has the best sushi I’ve ever tasted.The Mongolian beef is yummy. Chicken wings are better than anywhere else.The best part about the foods is that they are not as oily and greasy than foods at other Chinese places. Hopefully the bar will open for business soon.Very polite wait staffs.Reasonably priced.There is no better meal deal anywhere in Alaska.
This place was good when it was chongs Tokyo garden and its even better now that the new owners took it over as Tokyo garden. They are actually the owners of it from several years ago. The lunch bento boxes I’ve had are the steak and Mongolian beef, both very good including all the sides. You can tell they believe in high quality food and preparation. Very nice decor and atmosphere. Clean and bright. I’m usually the only one here at 11am so service is amazing lol. I hope word gets out for lunch goers so Tokyo garden can stay around for good.
Must Check Out!. The new owner did a great job renovating the place. I’m glad the fish tanks are no longer there. I used to eat here more when they were a buffet but when they changed from a buffet to a sushi place I stop going. But a friend of mine recently told me to check this place out because I would be missing out if I didn’t. They recommended a few sushi rolls and other dishes. I would have to say they were right. This is the best place for sushi. They have the best and freshest fish for their sushi. I love raw sushi so this is the place to get them. Their cooked sushi was also as good but as for me I would recommend raw sushi lovers to get the Sushi Deluxe. It was an assortment of a few different kinds of raw sushi and it was definitely worth my money for fresh fish.
Amazing Sushi & Modern Envrionment. It seems like everyone has their favorite Sushi place in town already but still you must check out this place! I took my family there before Christmas and I fell in love with the decors and the sushi was the best I’ve had in many years. My favorite was the Dragon Roll I have already recommended this place to many of my friends, families, and co-workers. Everyone that I recommended this place to did not have any disappointment at all. Will definitely be back again!
New Restaurant. Everyone should come check out the new Tokyo Garden. A new owner took over the place and remodeled the whole thing! The food is good and the environment is beautiful! Come check it out!
