Every time I have eaten here is has been great. I usually get mild stuff like Chicken Tikka Masala which is very good. But my favorite dish is actually an appetizer, the Pokhara Lamb Sekhwa, so good. I am always tempted just to get two orders of this appetizer as my meal.
Amazing Flavors!!!. Who ever hates on this restaurant doesn’t know what they are talking about. They are the best Indian cuisine in town and I enjoy ever bite. Atmosphere could improve, but that is not why I go there. #yumThanks!
How do they stay in business. Seemed more concerned with image than the bland food presented. Far better vegetarian fare can be found elsewhere in anchorage for cheaper. Not actually Himalayan food either. I’ve been there. This ain’t it.
Cozy little restaurant with friendly service and great food. Some complained about the price, but I thought it was pretty standard for anchorage. Certainly authentic!
Yak and Yeti: A Must Try!. You cannot get better Tibetan food anywhere in the Northwest. The prices are fair, the food is rich and tasty, and the service can’t be beat. The staff is very thoughtful, the chef even had an extra plate of lamb curry brought to our table because he felt like it. They brought me my purse even on a day they were closed because they actually were worried about me. You can’t find better more honest people than the folks who own this restaurant. They also have a second restaurant since their original location is so popular, their second location in the mall next to REI.
5 Stars!. Just go here and try whatever sounds good. It will taste delicious! Food is all spiced to perfection. One of my favorite restaurants in town.
Small unpretentious little place. Outstanding shekhwa, shapta and baigan bhartha.
