Went here last night with my wife. We decided to get the nachos and add shredded beef, and just share it, after being Assured that the portion in the to go container was bigger than if we stayed in the restaurant. We were in a hurry, so we ordered to go. The total came to $16 and change, and I am literally willing to bet that there were about 16 to 20 chips in the container. The presentation was awesome, and I would’ve been happy to pay eight dollars for it. This was not worth $16! There was absolutely no Mexican flavor in any part of the nachos! Very bland, very boring, but as stated before presentation sure looks good. Came out to approximately 1 dollar per chip! Yikes!

Tip policy. We’ve been going here for a number of years and enjoy the brunch they have. It’s a big selection and the food is good. Today we went and took the grandkids with us, there were 4 adults and 2 children, one a 5 year old who ate very little. Everything was fine until we got the bill. They charged us and additional $18.00 for tip. The only thing the waitress brought us was coffee and juice. I don’t mind if we go to a restaurant and place our orders , if there are 6 or more than I don’t mind paying the tip they add to the bill. But, this was Brunch, we all got up and got our own food. Mi Casa needs to re-examine their tip policy concerning 6 or more in a group for their Brunch only!

Mi Casa is an amazing restaurant! I absolutely love eating there. My husband and I recommend it to anyone that loves a good Mexican meal. We had them cater our wedding and it was simply perfect. We still go there from time to time. The waiters/waitresses are nice too. We even have a favorite waiter! If you haven’t been here, try it out! You’ll be satisfied! 🙂

The cooks should definitely try the food before they serve it. It’s terrible, I hope they figure it out.

Horrible service. I don’t like to wait more than half an hour for my bill. Will not be back.

It used to be good but the last few visits had such poor service. I should not go 30 min without seeing my waitress. I won’t be back.

Not so great breakfast.. There are a couple of things I require when going out to breakfast. I need my coffee cup refilled in a reasonable amount of time, and I would like to at least be offered jelly/jam for my toast. If this had been offered, maybe the $27 (w/out tip) bill would’ve been easier to handle.I had a bad feeling about dining at Mi Casa based on the amount of people in the dining area when we walked in. However, we decided, we’ll try it anyhow. The hostess seated us right away, poured water, and left. The waitress came with coffee, and after perusing the menu I decided on an omlette with just mushrooms & cheese. All items added to the 3 egg omlette are charged separately. 8.59 for the omlette plus $1 for cheese and 50 cents for mushrooms. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, with no gravy. My omlette, arrived only warm. The hasbrowns that accompanied it, should have never made it to the plate. They had been way overcooked and were also cold. The toast was also cold, and no jam was offered. I would have asked for some if we had seen our waitress again. The best part of my breakfast was the salsa that got on the side to put on my omlette. My husband’s chicken fried steak was hot, and tasted pretty good, his over easy eggs were cooked ok, but not very hot. On top of this, we had only received one refill on our coffee. I can’t blame the server for our food temp, but I can blame her for the poor service. I will not go back, not even to try the Mexican fare that they offer for lunch & dinner.
