Awesome!. Tried The People’s Place with my family today and it was amazing! Very authentic Cuban and American food. We had the chicken and the pork meals as well as a Caesar salad. Everything was prepaired and cooked to perfection. Large dinner sized meals for a Great price! Less than $10 for each meal! There is no table service it’s just a few chairs and a little food cart parked by Tyler Rental, and the food did take around 15 minute for it to come out…But it was Well worth the wait, everything was fresh and hot and clearly prepared from scratch, not just a bunch of pre prepped food hanging around a food warmer for quicker service. Over all I would give this place a 5 out of 5! Loved having something different and delicious and it made my wallet happy to save some $, as most of us know, it is very expensive to eat out in Juneau and the price is usually not worth it.I deffinately recommend giving this place a try!
Tried the Ropa Vieja for lunch today, it was outstanding! the chicken wasn’t tough, the plantains were cooked to perfection… will definitely go back to try his other menu items!
