An unassuming little asian vendor in Juneau’s Nugget mall, Peter’s doesn’t look like Juneau’s go-to spot for the best spring rolls in town. But one bite of their crispy, flaky Vietnam-style rolls and you’re hooked. Their Teriyaki Chicken plate is their most popular item on the menu, aside from the spring rolls. My favorite platter is the Prawn Noodle Vegetables. As it is a food stop in the mall, don’t expect fancy plates. All orders are heaped into hefty styrofoam to-go boxes and Peter’s only accepts cash, but with an ATM machine conveniently placed nearby its easy to comply. A frequent stop for locals, this is a hidden gem in Juneau that’s a must for any passing visitor.
