The Pad Thai is surprisingly good for Juneau. But then I tried the yellow curry last summer. Very bland and most importantly highlighter yellow. It looked so unappealing that I barely ate it. So disappointing because I love yellow curry… I’m willing to try a couple more items due to the overall high ratings.

Suwanna is one of those restaurants where I can never decide what I want because its all so good! Usually end up with the special or the spicy shrimp wrap. Order an extra sauce, its killer! Tried to go last week but they were closed for vacation, so sad I didn’t have lunch that day.
Today was my first time at the Suwanna Cafe. I’m impressed with the menu and with the prices. I ordered the Chicken Wrap with their homemade spicy sauce. It was delicious. The sauce wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be, but they have sriracha sauce available for all the tables. I am satisfied customer and will go back for more!
Awesome. This place is fantastic! The food is healthy and really, really good! I am obsessed with the Pa-Nang chicken curry and the summer rolls. The prices are good and you get a nice size portion. Considering a family of 3 can spend $22 at McDonalds (2 meals and a happy meal) for lunch and the same family can walk away for roughly the same price (or less) and eat supremely better food, I think it’s a great value for really excellent food. Best thai food I have had in Juneau so far.
This is a great place to get some takeout or break for lunch during your work day. There isn’t much dining space and there are no high chairs, but it’s a nice little place to get Thai in Juneau!
