Good food, slow service. Dinner was OK… salmon was dry and over cooked. Shrimp Caesar left more to be desired. We thought the shrimp would be grilled and large, they were mini frozen shrimp. Slower service, but very friendly. Breakfast was good, service was a bit slow. The sourdough French toast on the menu is really sourdough pancakes, which were delicious! Coffee is good and the wait staff was attentive.

Worst. Breakfast. Ever. Maybe I caught it on an off day but I have nothing positive to say about the breakfast. My chicken fried steak was raw in the middle and the gravy tasted horrible. Chaulky is the word that comes to mind. My wife’s potatoes were burnt and there wasnt much meat in the skillet….

TK Maguire’s. I personally like TK’s because of the location, the burgers are good and the staff is friendly. They aren’t always busy, and that is nice if you’re on your lunch hour. But because they’re not always busy, they can be short staffed at times. I have fond memories of the place, so I will keep coming back. The cream of asparagus soup is delicious, and the guacamole burger is my favorite.

Inconsistent dining. The only safe bet for me is the shrimp Caesar wrap or a burger. Pretty view though.

I enjoyed TK Maguire’s. My blackened halibut wrap exceeded my expectations, the fries were above average and the diet coke refills kept coming without me even asking. I even had a hot chocolate for dessert which came hot, and was probably the best I’ve had…maybe, ever. The atmosphere is great too.

Our Go-To Place. This is where we went one weekend lunch when we were ignored for 15 minutes at another local restaurant. It was a welcome surprise to be greeted and served so quickly. Our waitress had a welcoming smile, served our food promptly, keeping our drinks refilled. The menu seems to change from one day to the next, so that throws us off a little. Also, we were in for dinner earlier this week and had to keep our winter coats on because of the chill. Super friendly waitstaff, prompt service, our steaks were cooked JUST right. Also, I noticed there was an issue at the table across from us where their food wasn’t exactly what they wanted. Their server was very professional, apologized and brought them something different. If only it was like this everywhere else. I appreciate that kind of customer service. It shows that the establishment really cares. Now if they’d only fix their heat problem!

RJH. 30 min wait to get our coffee and order, by the time we got our order and left it had taken 1 hr 25 min. for a luke warm omelet that had been under the warming light too long, the hashbrowns were cold and didn’t get our toast until half way done with the omelet. This is the second time we have had bad experience at TK’s, won’t happen again
