Great Americano. Full body and silky smooth. They also know how to make it properly … Shots on top of the water so the creama retains it specialness. I also had the snicker doodle and it was soft, chewy goodness. If you are visiting and need a beak froThe cruise ship, this is s great little find.
You know your at the right place when they get the basics 100% right on, to the point of having the most enjoyable and memorable over easy eggs with bacon, home fries and toast. The cook must really enjoy what they do to put so much care into the simple details. Such as every single piece of potato was perfectly crispy and uniformly coated with seasoning. Most definitely eat here!
Menu: the dinner menu is limited but changes, or so they claim, but the descriptions of the items were obtuse at best if not misleading Food: the food was adequate, not bad, but given Chef Schooler’s recent nomination for the James Beard Foundation Chef of the Year award we were not impressed. It was not a bad meal but a little pricy for what you get and honestly we’ve had better meals form a food truck. Wine & Beer: the list was short but well rounded; our pinot noir was tasty, served at the right temperature and was the best part of the meal.Service: our server was competent, pleasant and mostly attentive. Interior ambiance: bohemian, with casual seating the walls feature a changing assortment of local artist. The acoustics were terrible however and when it filled up it was so loud that it was all but imposable to carry on a conversation. Like far too many restaurants in Juneau it was overly pricey for what you get, I would not recommend.
