Worst experience I ever had in this restaurant. Very bad management, they would change the price of the item and say menu’s are not updated! so rude management and lot of arguments if I asked anything about the check/bill. I can give -5 star if it allows! don’t ever go there.
Awesome. Love their appetizers, such a cool restaurant to eat at too
CAUTION…NOT AN INDIAN FOOD PLACE!!!. They don’t have any clue how to make Biriyani (whether it’s chicken, goat or any other combination). It’s not even close to how it should be prepared and should taste. Just by mixing a few items and calling it Biriyani doesn’t work. Being Indian, we felt quite cheated. Most customers are Americans who are not familiar with Indian dishes. So, they can fool the customers easily. We will stop going to this restaurant for a while.
Don’t be fooled by the DELIVERY portion of this restaurant. The Restaurant DOES NOT DELIVER ON FRIDAY nor WEEKENDS. Best indian food. As a Bay area person of Indian origin I rarely like any restaurant outside of Bay area, and Star of India is an exception. I look forward to have my dinner at this place during my work related visits to Chandler. I recommend Chicken Makhni, Chicken Karahi, Garlic naan, and Mango lassi. Ambience is good as well.
The food here is great! I was never a big fan of Indian food until I ate here. Highly recommend it. Especially the chicken tikka and the tandoori chicken.
I’m lucky enough to live close to this restaurant. The food is fresh and very, very good. I’ve eaten Indian food all over and the cook here is the real deal. Great service, good people. The buffet is awesome too. You must try the Ras Malai for dessert 😉
