If you go for dim sum at the Carriage House, I’d suggest sitting on the right side as you’re entering. It seemed that the carts come out and start serving on that side first. By the time they made it over to the left, there were less options and the larger dim sum options in the glass cart were cold. I did see them bring out requested food items, straight from the kitchen. However, not knowing what options were there before the cart was picked over, you don’t know what you may have been interested in trying. They seem to make larger parties a priority as well. I understand that reasoning, but it can make the wait for the carts a little frustrating. That being said, the staff was very friendly and Janos was engaged, touching base with each table at some point during the meal. The actual flavors of the dim sum were ok, at this point I’d stick with Gee’s Garden restaurant until the kinks are worked out. The potential is certainly there..
