Breathtaking Views and interesting above average farm to table but technically flawed food on my visit but your visit I hope differs. We started with the Deviled Duck Egg and the Seared Shishitos. The Duck Egg was small like a chicken egg and the filling was runny and lumpy and not flavored so great. The egg sat on chopped up egg whites that were very rubbery. The Shishitos were good but I didn’t taste the blueberry sugar that they might have had on them. I had the Melon Salad. The Guanciale was cold and greasy and straight out of the refrigerator. My salad tasted good but was missing the radish flowers promised. My husband had the Smokie that sat on a house made roll that was too tiny so it was too hard to eat. He also said the meat was very fine and packed too tight. I was still hungry and had room for dessert and tried the recommended Strawberry and Lemon Icebox Pie. In my first bite I had to PULL SOMETHING FROM MY MOUTH. I thought it was a piece of silicon glue. My stomach turned. I still ate some pie because I was hungry. It wasn’t good to me and because of the taste and texture. I showed the waiter what I pulled out of my mouth and he said the chef said it must have been gelatin. I loved the view but I doubt I will ever return for the food.
