Can’t say enough good things about their cookies…cute AND delcious, even the frosting! They are always seasonally decorated, but they can make something special for parties too.
I have been going to Barbs for years, slowly I have seen the quality go down. I ordered a cake from them this week, I went to pick it up, it was awful not al all what I asked for. When placing the order over the telephone, they asked for my credit card number, expiration date and security code on the back, I was VERY nervous providing this information. When I went to pick up the cake, the lady that waiting on me, Lisa was extremely rude, very unprofessional, and kept correcting me, say that buttercream frosting could not be tinted light brown, after I asked to call out a cake decorator and ask the same question, he confirmed yes, we could have tinted light brown. I finally left, as Lisa was still saying some stuff to us as we left the store in front of other customers. I decided to return the cake and was treated SO rude and was yelled at by both Lisa and the owners cousin who had been left in charge while the owner was on vacation. I asked to look at the original receipt to make sure all my credit card information was removed, and I was denied. I will never return to Barbs again, after being a customer for about 7 years 🙁

They did our wedding cake and honestly it was not only beautiful but so moist and yummy. They also made wedding cake shaped cookies w our initials, wrapped in cellophane w a darling ribbon and attached heart shaped tag with our wedding date. We handed them out at the rehearsal dinner. They were a hit. Barb’s seasonal cookies are off the charts adorable and so freaking good and their petit fours…need I say more! Also for your 1st wedding anniversary they make you a free cake. I love you Barb’s. Don’t change!
Great. I had my wedding cake done here. The first lady we talked to was very vague and I had a hard time figuring out what we wanted… but when I went back in for the second time they were much more helpful. The cake was beautiful and delicious… we had way more cake than guests (our error, not theirs) – and much of the extra was still eaten up by lingering guests!
