Overall a good experience. Friendly service. We ordered the chicken pot roast which I highly recommend as well as the sausage mushroom pizza. Everything was flavorful. Splurged and tried the Almond Joy dessert. Very good but very sweet. Glad I was finally able to try this newest addition to the Fox restaurant chain.
Doughbird is mainly a free range chicken rotisserie restaurant and organic pizzeria. This is a full service restaurant with waitstaff. They offer a full bar and offer indoor and outdoor seating. The dining has a wide variety of tables so no matter what you prefer it’s offered here. The restaurant bright and airy with modern furniture and the atmosphere is energetic. The kitchen is very open and diners can see the action. We started with the Truffle Italian Cheese Stromboli. It was oozing with molten rich delicious truffle laced Italian cheese and the crust was really crisp and crusty. Our whole rotisserie chicken came with one side and one sauce so we ordered an extra sauce and side for a few dollars more. The chicken was drool worthy. Very moist flavorful and meaty. It was was a very large portion that might feed four people. But it only comes with one sauce and one side so you will need more. We tried the jalapeo pesto and spicy buffalo sauce that was more like mustard flavors with a bright pop of apple cider. It was just delicious and the sides of non traditional quinoa tabbouleh and macaroni and cheese were great too. The butterscotch cream cake was a sweet ending. Organic, free range, mostly local and quality ingredients that taste good in a nice atmosphere.
