I had lunch in this EPL outlet after arriving at PHX, on the way to Grand Canyon. I had the three-piece all white with double mac and cheese (the tortillas that came with the meal went to the bottom of Grand Canyon and were had for lunch slathered with PB&J 🙂 ). For the first time in many visits to EPLs, the chicken was a touch on the overcooked side. It wasn’t enough to send back (I hate doing that, the food just gets tossed), and I compensated by some judicious trimming. The mac and cheese was great stuff. My travel companions had various burritos and tacos and enjoyed them as well. Great stuff. billhensley.wordpress.com

I love the chicken, especially wings, I like it so much my location at 65th Ave and Indian School knows my voice in the drive through. I am not the only one who likes those wings though, I still can’t believe the woman who kept saying she should have beat me there because they ran out of wings, I finally had to tell her, that she didn’t so get over it. Did I forget to mention the wonderful avocado salsa, yummy! I wish the chipotale salsa would come back! The pintos and rice make a good breakfast the next morning with avocado salsa! I am a frequent flyer in this place!
