I was here with a group of 20. In order to have a reservation where we would a be able to sit together, we were forced to use a $20 group menu with 3 options: burger, pizza, or salad. When we arrived our seating was not one or 2 long tables for our group but 5 separate booths. We were still forced to order from the set menu and were told that we’d be charged the $20 whether we decided to eat or not. One member of our Cross Creek Ranch Fulshear Texas ordered a burger medium well. It came out overcooked at first and then completely red in the middle the second time. The food was average and the service was terrible. Even so we all had to pay $27 for an entree, not even including a salad or drink. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE!
Fabulous food. We had a wedding dinner there for 15 people. it couldn’t have been better or tastier. everyone had something different and it all tasted great, looked great. the onion rings are superior! the ribs are tasty and fall off the bone. the prime rib was excellent. attentive wait staff.
Pleasant Surprise. I normally avoid eating at many of the hotels where I stay due to the their restaurants usually having mediocre food and service. This restaurant definitely killed that norm. Great breakfast, very good dinner and excellent service all the way around.I would eat here again even if I wasn’t staying at The Biltmore.
Pricey, but it’s in a hotel. You have to try the totrtilla soup! It’s amazing and affordable. The drink selection is decenct and the bar tenders knew how to work with what they had. Also, sitting outside next to a fire pit is always a solid touch.
Pleasant ambience, good food. We visited a couple of times between Christmas and New Year’s, and we were happy with the generally very good quality of the food. The cocktails could use a little bit more work (specialty cocktails lacked imagination and were generally too sweet). The small tasting plates in the bar/lounge area are very nice. The service was excellent.
Beautiful Grounds/Horrible Restaurant. I had the smoked cornedbeef. There are foods that just shouldn’t be smoked and cornedbeef is one of them. The sandwich was tuff and chewy, I couldn’t even eat it. The service was awful. The waitress brought us the wrong order. I’d love to stay here and see how the other half lives but forget this restaurant.
Wonderful sundaes!. So-so food – I tried the waldorf salad and goats cheese flat bread. However, the sundae selection was great!
