Possibly an OFF Day at Lunch Time ?. The atmosphere is sort of eloquent airy diner that’s kind of Frank Lloyd Wright. On the lunch menu is a house made corned beef sandwich so I thought it would be delicious. I didn’t really like the way it tasted. All I could taste was the sauerkraut. Then I pulled out a piece of corned beef to taste and it was nearly all fat oddly without flavor. My husband had a F&A BLT. This sandwich was made with pork belly and it was very dry and had old looking tomatoes in it. We were going to complain about the sandwiches but nobody checked on us. Thankfully I had a buy one get one card because they cost about $16.00 a sandwich. Even if the sandwiches were free I’d still rate the sandwiches TERRIBLE. I hope that this was just an off day. If you want to give them a try you have to use the valet or walk around the building to the parking garage.
Went there for father’s day breakfast and expected it to be busy to my surprise it was not but now I know why food was ok not great nothing I couldn’t whip up in my own kitchen in less then the time we waited for our food, for 12$ citrus ricotta pancakes I kinda expected it to be accompanied with eggs or potatoes which it did not I had to order those seperate. And as far as those pancakes they did taste like citrus or ricotta but regular old pancake mix stuff, eggs I expected to be fresh cracked i ordered them scrambled and I could tell that they were not fresh eggs but liquid egg product which were very over cooked the roasted potatoes lacked flavor and were cold , fresh squeezed orange juice was advertised on menu but once again I was disappointed with an very expensive glass of the boxed stuff. I will never go back at least not for breakfast .
