Very delicious and according to my afghani husband it was very authentic. One of the dishes we ordered was the Mantoo and they were delicious! The prices are very fair. Definitely we will be back and hopefully we can bring my in laws.
A teeny tiny bistro with a mini mart corner of halal and middle eastern food, a good place to rest on a road trip with home food freshly prepared by the hot hearted chef and owner, love it
Cheap decent food in large portions. The title says it all… My chicken boti was very tender with nondescript spices. It was served on 4-5 servings of basmati rice with chopped cucumbers and tomatoes they called a salad and a green dipping sauce that was quite good. My friend, who invited me, had chicken tikka masala. This dish had a bit more flavor. Again, the chicken was very tender and the serving size was enough to bring home nearly half of the dish. It was served with naan, which in what I though was a nice departure from the norm was not super fluffy and buttered.
Tasty.. Yesterday was the third time I visited and enjoyed Khyber Halal’s cuisine. The mixed grill was very tasty including the rice and chicken boti. Previously we indulged in mantoo, little packets of very thin dough filled with ground beef and seasonings. Their eggplant was also very good.Along with the mix grill came a salad of chopped cucumbers, tomatoes and fresh herbs. Wonderful!
This place is great! My wife have eaten here three times in the past month and we love the fresh and savory food. The staff is very friendly and gives good recommendations if you can’t decide.
Awesome Food!. I visited Khyber Halal for the first time recently and I was absolutely amazed with the food I ordered. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, vegetable samosas, rice, and naan. The meal was cooked to perfection and I enjoyed every bite. This restaurant is definitely a step above others of this type of cuisine. I can’t wait until my next visit!
WOW!!!!. There are many words that can describe my experience, but I will stick to just one… WOW. The food is great the service is great and the best part is that it is a family owned business. Sure you do have to wait about 15 minutes to recive your food depending on what you ordered, but in the end the wait is well woth it. The owner told me that becasue they cook everything fresh it takes a while and i understood. If you look at other food places, they dont cook everything fresh, but here at Khyber Halal that is different. Everything down to the bread is all cooked fresh exactly after you enter the door. I highly recommend the Chicken Boti, the Kabli Paloo, and of course the Mantoo. I will definately be coming here again.
