Mixed Feelings. The host was super friendly and courteous. She offered me a free soup with my meal [politely declined as I don’t like soup]. I got the mongolian beef lunch with an eggroll, crab rangoon and fried rice. The crab rangoon was really bland, tasted like cream cheese and nothing like crab. The fried rice was also bland, well-cooked, but basically just white rice in soy sauce. I liked the eggroll because it had a higher proportion of cabbage which I personally like. The quality of the beef was better than other places I’ve had around Phoenix, but not the best. They got the heat/spice level I requested spot-on.I think for a $5.50 lunch deal, Panda Express has better quality meats and veggies, even tho they’re a vanilla-chain.
