Fabulous brunch. We will be coming back forever. Nice friendly vibe. Creative menu with fresh local indgredients. For instance they don’t just offer eggs, they offer you your choice of duck, goose, quail, or chicken eggs. I had a superior pork and cheese omelet and my wife had a banana bread French toast. Pretty cool.

Everything’s Delicious. This is my favorite place to dine in town: it’s unnassuming, but cozy. The locally-sourced menu is inspired but not too fussy. The dishes are well-composed, lovely to look at, and very tasty. Love the mini ravioli, risotto, the salads and the carne adovado omelette…stay for the cocktails or to purchase Go Local produce or specialty groceries.

Best experience you could hope for in a restaurant. We had the pleasure of working with Ali and Jennifer for our wedding celebratory dinner @ the Restaurant ‘The Market by Jennifers.’ It was truly amazing. Neither my husband nor I, had ever been to the restaurant or used Jennifer’s catering. Strictly by reviews and restaurant write-ups for great places to dine in Phoenix, did we come upon them. They hosted a lovely 35 person seated dinner in their restaurant for us. We live out of state, and as you can imagine it takes a lot of communciation to get things done right for this type of occasion. They were both gracious and helpful throughout entire process. They even hosted a friend of ours to try some of the items for the pre-selected menu, in order to ease any concerns about not having tried their restaurant. Very gracious. The food was so delicious, from the roasted veggie boards, to the tender asparagus salad and amuse bouche of shrimp toasted coconut with curry sauce. To the wondeful, salmon, petite filet and lovely dessert of banana pudding and flourless chocolate cake. Our guests were very impressed and quite a few remarked they will comeback. Everything was prepared just right and the wait staff did excellent job of preparing guests for how things were prepared by chef. It was a culinary delight. To our surprise they even had live acoustic guitar player and singer in the restaurant that night, which was bonus fo us, as we hadn’t planned music for guests. We loved it. At the end of our evening my husband and I, were given a couple bags of goodies to take as congratulatory gift for our recent wedding. Again I can’t say enough how gracious everyone was. I would highly recommend trying restaurant, or catering service, as they really did take care of us. Overall we give 5 stars for food, staff, atmosphere with music and being tucked in far right corner of street, which gives restaurant their own charm. Our best hope in hosting this dinner was to have everything taken care of to finite detail, so that we could just arrive and enjoy our guests and dinner and they far exceeded those expectations. Thank you, The Market by Jennifers!!!29 Sep, 2014The best experience in a restaurant we could have ever hoped for:. Maybe they are better for lunch or I hit them on an off day?. We tried the restaurant week three course menu. My husband started with the Arborio Rice that was undercooked, dry and had almost no taste. I had the Soup and Sammich. I don’t know how the soup was made but it tasted like only half and half with blended Squash in it . The Sammich was the only thing delicious out of all 6 plates we tried. The cheese seemed to be of high quality and tasted good with the pear and honey on fresh grilled Brioche bread. But it was odd as it was a grilled bread sandwich with a cold filling. My husband had what they called Fresh Pasta with a Poached Egg. The pasta seemed like boxed pasta that was very mushy and the sauce was sort of broken. I had the Patagonia Salmon. The Raw tomatoes with Roasted Garlic and LOT OF OIL were disappointing on the salmon. I was hoping that desserts would be redeeming but sadly they were the worst part. I thought Mason Jar Lemon Meringue would be delicious since Lemon Meringue is my favorite dessert but I was horrified when I tasted the Meringue because it wasn’t meringue. It tasted like Torched Jarred Marshmallow Cream. The Apple Tatin was just as disappointing. Hopefully it was just an off night.
