This is a small mom & pop restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale that offers chef driven food that is globally inspired. The menu offerings change every day. The restaurant is casual and traditional looking that is bright with natural sunlight during the day. On the day of my visit they offered a mostly Italian and Asian menu. We started with the Cucumber Lollipops. They were made of raw tuna, salmon, yellow tail avocado and held together with thin cucumber. THEY WERE AMAZING! I don’t know how they made them taste so delicious. The plate was also garnished with peppery greens that were dressed in a zippy ginger dressing. My rating would have to be a five on this dish. I didn’t feel the same about the house made pasta dish I tried. The pasta was good but the fish in it wasn’t bad but was slightly fishy in taste. I also thought the dish needed one more flavor like a pinch of saffron or a fresh herb. Still a good dish….but not amazing like the first plate. Service was friendly and sincere. Lots of potential here!
