Bland, boring & overpriced. Went to the new location in Mesa based upon other reviews and the fact that the signature location was featured on DD&D (although previous experience has, to some extent, given me pause for thought). Very disappointed. Out of two breakfasts (eggs, home fries, turkey bacon, brioche toast; pancakes) only the eggs had any flavor at all. Everything else–bland. Neither the home fries or bacon appeared to have ever been close to a seasoning. The pancakes (3 large) were more like a dense sponge cake in texture but otherwise tasteless. Although the menu states ‘real’ maple syrup, can’t be sure. Coffee, moderate to weak. Service was attentive. For what was offered, thought the prices a bit high. Was really looking for a breakfast joint closer to home but, I think I would rather spend the money on gas and go elsewhere.
Maybe again, but I’d have to be in the area. Its a busy little place with limited seating; the food was about what youd expect for your money. I cant say I was disappointed however when I left I wondered if I would want to come back again. Yes,,, maybe if I were in the area Id stop in again for breakfast however Im not driving to this spot just for eats here. The food was good, the price was right, the service was fine but nothing outstanding comes to mind. I really disliked the tight seating arrangements.
French toast was good, but corn beef hash was from a can even though the menu said house made….
Went for breakfast because of guy fieri. Server was fantastic! Food was good. Bacon rocked!! Thanks!!
I saw Overeasy on Guy Fieri’s show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and want to try it out because the breakfast look delicious! I went today with family and we had staff is unwelcoming and rude. I had the french toast they made Guy with the banana’s and pecans and the serving looked huge and delicious. My french toast was cold, looked like regular slice bread, and was average in taste. Not worth the drive from where I live in Arrowhead….food there was over rated, over priced and not worth the drive. I will never eat their or recommend to family and friends!
I travel to Phoenix and try to make it here for breakfast. The food was great and so was the service.
