Ate here on 1-31-14 and was very disappointed. Had the sirloin and 3 eggs. They didn’t drain the poached eggs so it arrived swimming in water which greatly diluted all flavor from the caramelized onions and jalapenos served with it. The sirloin was cold and my 3 poached eggs had only 1 yolk done properly. The other was hard cooked and the third was totally missing. So I had a relatively tasteless, cold, and watery plate. The homefries ordered crispy were mushy and tasted like rancid grease. My partner’s meal was chicken fried steak and the batter was falling off, overcooked and also tasted like old grease. His hashbrowns ordered crispy were undercooked. The worst part was that after a half hour of heartburn, my meal ran through me like a freight train and I knew it was that particular food because of the jalapeno burn at the end!
Good Breakfast. Breakfast happens to be my favorite meal of the day. So I’m a sucker for unique breakfast restaurants with good-size portions. Over Easy serves up fresh creative breakfast items. Because of it’s size, I can see a little bit of a wait to get in on weekends. My service was friendly and fast. I love the throwback decor and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Food came out hot and quick. They now have a few restaurants in the valley – I pray they don’t become a chain. foodartandculture.com
