Lovely place! We got the cheese board, octopus, scallops, perigord truffle and forest mushrooms, beet salad, branzino fish, and a huge plate of desser…

I was hoping for something much better than it was. The service really tainted the experience for us. I had the pappardelle; it just had a TON of peas…

Special lunch. T cooks ambiance is fabulous! Beautiful scenery very nice for a special occasion I had butternut squash soup flat iron steak salad and grapefruit brle it was filling and one of the best meals I’ve had and included a glass of Pinot noir. The staff was wonderful and very intelligent about gluten free requirements. My husbands gluten meal was delicious as well
New chef and menu. The jury is still out on this once wonderful place, several new menu items and a new chef make for adventure and sometimes ??????????
WONDERFUL wait staff AND great food!. We’re staying at the Royal Palms for several days and we’ve eaten a dinner, a lunch, and a catered meal here. I have NEVER had such excellent service in all of the places I’ve eaten across North America. Every waiter seemed determined to make sure that we had everything we needed. The food was excellent. I’m not a gourmet so I’m not too keen on frills, etc. but the food was very tasty. What more could you ask? The entree portions were of good size, especially since you expect small portions at a posh place. The appetizers and lobster bisque were very good. At lunch, you must try the mini desserts. The pecan pie tartlet was dreamy. Even the catered dinner was outstanding. I was not disappointed in any meal that I have had at the Royal Palms.I usually don’t make comments on atmosphere and ambiance since those are not important to me as long as there are no screaming kids, etc. But the dining area at T. Cooks makes me think of home. Pull up a comfy chair and gather around the table to enjoy each other and the food. There are trunks of live palms (holes are cut into the roof for the tops!). The view of the mountains is breathtaking. Everywhere you look in the dining room is relaxing and peaceful. I highly recommend T Cook’s for anyone who can afford it.
I have been staying at the Royal Palms for a few days and have eaten at T Cooks several times. Besides the beautiful scenery, the food has yet to disappoint and the servers are incredibly welcoming, kind, and accommodating to my dietary (vegan) restrictions. Although the menu is on the pricier side, the food and the ambience, not to mention the beautiful view of Camelback Mountain right outside is well worth it. I highly recommend this place.
Great ambience but the food was just ok. Nothing remarkable for the price.
PROFESSONIONAL. TOPS IN ALL WAYS….
