What a lot of people don’t know, is when the dining room is full, there is an entire other side to The Henry. You can eat over there off the full menu. The catch is you order at the espresso bar counter. I prefer it because it is not noisy.P.S. The bloody mary’s aren’t all that. But there are great creations on this menu.
$47 steak, medium rare, and it was dry as hell. Wouldn’t feed to my dog. Does anyone actually know how to cook a steak? Everything else was great. Good service, the appetizers and sides were excellent. Should have just go two order of the potstickers.
I went to the cafe section of The Henry to meet up with a friend. Wasn’t in the mood for coffee so I had the fresh orange juice, it was so good and super pulpy which I like. The atmosphere and daylighting here is incredible. Only downside was that it took a very long time for a barista to come from the back and ring us up
Oh, The Henry. With your marble tables, deep cushioned couches, outlets, open wifi and coffee that makes me want to do a dance of jubilee! Apart from your prices there isn’t much wrong with you. If I could, I would rent office space within these walls. It’s comfortable, spacious and the best place for meetings. Not to mention, the food is really very good if you have $30 bucks to throw down.
The Belfast Boy. We have eaten at The Henry five times in the past week – we keep going back because of its great food and the spacial area of the dinning room. The down sides to The Henry are few so lets get them out in the open quickly – first impressions are important and when you check in for your reserved table several people with iPads get to work on your reservation – and on and on it goes – even on one occasion when the restaurant was extremely quiet we were set to one side as iPads were clicked and clicked and clicked…………The greeters should be able to seat you promptly without having a holy huddle to decide where you are sitting. A few of our servers were superb but the rest fairly nondescript – that’s all the bad stuff – – well the noise level problem is well known so I won’t even mention that. The electric atmosphere and the great space between the tables give you the impression you are dinning on your own – its wonderful. The food is first rate the short ribs are to die for – the fish is always cooked to perfection and the salads have some of the best dressings in town – no complaints about anything in that department (the bread pudding is orgasmic – truly!!) A gem of a restaurant…………once you get seated!!!!
Outstanding !!!. 5 pm seating. Tons of waitstaff available and we got Sarah!! She was awesome !! Every recommendation was spot on. Brie toast, artichoke appie, short ribs and bread pudding were all 10 star!!! Won’t explain the complexity of each as you have to taste to get it. Both manager and GM on duty came to table to see how things were. They even knew we were from Seattle (waitress clued them in) but that was real cool touch. I will tell everyone we know to check out The Henry!! Well done !!
We were pretty disappointed with our Sunday morning breakfast. Chicken fried chicken came out with a paltry amount of gravy. Seems over priced for what you really get. Appears to be more of a place to be seen than to enjoy a good meal.
