My husband said the Cuban sandwich is the best sandwich he has ever had. The Posole was wonderful. Finished with the carrot cake which had great density and flavor. Worth the visit when in Casa Grande.
Big House Cafe is an awesome place to eat. It has that small town charm and plenty of things to eat on the menu no matter what you are in the mood for.The problem we always see at the Big House and we do go there often, is that some wait staff do a lot of work and others don’t really pitch in and do their part. From what I could see all the tips are put in a jug and divided up later. Thats all well in good but if you liked your wait staff and you want to tip them well, you can’t. The dinning area inside and outside areas seem to be unorganized, nobody is assign a table or area so some times you sit there wait for someone just to ask you what you want to drink, and then you wait again for them to take your order, this all happens because no one is assigned certain areas or tables. The whole wait staff just runs around looking busy but some really are not. Because of this unorganiztion food comes out cold because no one is assigned tables, they just are running here and there and in some cases they are doing nothing, just getting in the way.I know all this sounds crazy but this is what we notice just sitting there waiting for service. On a scale 1 to 10 and 10 being awesome, service here is about a 2 or 3.
Amazing food and generous portions. I had the tuthill house hash and a breakfast taco and it was way more than enough food and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back.
DELISH!. That’s the word to describe The Big House Cafe. I’ve eaten there on a number of occasions and everything I’ve had has been just great! It’s SO much better than any chain restaurant. Their breakfast options are plentiful and hardy. Their lunch choices are numerous and equally filling. I’ve never had a meal I didn’t like there. The prices are reasonable, as well. I highly recommend The Big House.

Great breakfast. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast, we were in for a treat. Her omelet was perfectly cooked and my 3.99 special was very good, the only improvement could have been to the potatoes, but my wife wouldn’t let me go back to the kitchen to give some cooking advice. It was a rather enjoyable way to start the morning.
