Genuine. True family owned Wisconsin butcher shop with a deli stocked with the east coast.24 Dec, 2014Turducken. After the chicken crossed the road and was swallowed by a duck who was then gobbled up by a turkey, we put them all in the oven till they stopped quackin and gobblin and started Crispin and sizzlin.
It smells like spoiled meat when you go inside. Had a sandwich they pulled the meat to the open side of the bread making it look like there was more on it. Wasn’t impressed.
It was okay, nothing to write hone about. Very cool place to random meats though!
The ugly steaks were very juicy, they’d be great for fajitas. The buffalo sausage was not my favorite, the texture was a little finely ground and mushy
Stinks, literally, inside.. People talk about this place, like it’s a must for meats, the place smells like dead chickens, feathers or some odd thing.i bought some sausages, when I took them out to cook, they smelled spoiled, reeked, wow, pretty bad. Now, here is my philosophy, if it don’t smell good inside, well, why buy the meat. i have been to many meat places, delis, etc., they always have a great aroma, again, if it smells bad, I won’t bother.
