Positives: great atmosphere, great location, great cocktails.Negatives: apathetic wait staff, food quality and preparation not up to par with what you’re paying. This place used to be great but our last couple of trips were quite disappointing. It’s not the worst thing we have eaten but will not be back for a while
A super cool treat!. What a great experience we had when we dined at the blue hound on May 5th, 2015. The food was beautifully presented yet still relaxed. The service by Jeremy was outstanding. He was clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food he was serving. Each dish was delicious and interesting. The shrimp with creamy grits sets the standard for this somewhat trendy dish. I will have a hard time ordering it any where else now! The beet salad with dates was beautiful and we’ll composed in nice bite size pieces that made it easy to get all the flavors in one bite, a detail often overlooked when form takes precedence over flavor. We will go back soon to try the many other dishes we wished we had room for!Great job Blue Hound. A howling good eatery!
Nice Place in Downtown Phoenix. Went to the BHK on Feb 15th for a post Valentine’s Day dinner. Food was EXCELLENT and so was the table service. My only complaint was with regards to the bar service. Bar is very nicely done and albeit a bit busy, the bar staff was not too attentive to ensuring all customers had their orders taken and prepped in a timely fashion.
