Really great vibe and atmosphere at Copper Blues in downtown Phoenix. We sat at the outdoor bar during happy hour and we had a great time sampling some of the outstanding Arizona beers that we had yet to taste – try the Sonoran White Chocolate, it’s a taste sensation.We had the Mac and Cheese which was out of this world good, and the pretzel sticks with beer cheese which were equally tasty. We also had the mushroom pizza which was a little underdone and way too truffle oiled.Great place to check out, I’ll be back.
I agree with the multiple reviews that are describing the sub-par service. This place was recommended to me by some friends who went the night before. However, I felt that during my time there the staff was discriminating against me. In this day and age I couldn’t believe this still happens. But apparently it still does at Copper Blues.
If only the service were as good…. Nachos are huge and delicious. Live music is excellent. Draft selection was good, visit would have better had our server told us what was out instead of looking over 60 options to then find out first two options are out. Server took orders from all but one in our party then walked away, rarely came by the table. A draft took longer than it should bring seated 25 feet from the bar when the place was adequately staffed. A shame when a live music place with good food has bad service, unfortunately it overshadows the others.
Worst Service in Arizona. I have a hard time understanding how this restaurant functions. They don’t bring the food out at the same time so no one is eating at the same time (they can only put 6 orders in at a time – what??), they don’t have change so they make the decision on what change you get back for your bill (an extra tip for the horrible service – what??), they run out of items, the servers are slow, not friendly and down right ignorant. My 10 year old could do a better job. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T EVER GO HERE!
GREAT party venue…….10/10! But we returned on a Monday night for regular dinner. Food and drinks were pretty great (‘adult ketchup’ is tasty and highly recommend the Dublin Donkey) BUT downsides: the drinks were unbelievably expensive ($11!), service was a little slow (which we were only one of about 5 tables) and it seemed like they pushed us out the door so they could leave early.
The copper blue chicken wing is exceptional!
