Good food but rude owner. I love this place but refuse to go to this spot because the owner and kids are very rude. I have had change thrown at me instead of handed to me among other things. For a while I shrugged it off because like I said, the food is good. But If you want good food, great portions and great customer service….go to the Crazy Jim’s on 15th Ave and Indian School. They are top notch!
Crazy for being treated badly. During the past year, Crazy Jims has been the local eatery for breakfast and lunch for our group. A meal could be made from the hummus and pita alone; however, I no longer suggest that. Today, I ordered hummus and pita. A coworker ordered chicken and changed the fries to a salad. Crazy Jims has great salads and the waitress did not deny the substitution when asked if she could switch fries for salad. Approximately fifteen minutes into the meal, I requested additional pita and the owner stated he would charge me for it. Of course, its good stuff! The owner then informed us he requests we do not come back to his restaurant unless we order an entre at lunch, not appetizers. We honestly were looking around for a camera, we were surely being punked. The owner was serious! Ive spent hundreds of dollars in this establishment the past year, but no more. We informed the cashier, she looked at the ground and muttered to herself that he shouldnt be saying such things. In speaking to the waitress, she shrugged her shoulders and stated Hes the Owner. Rude, rude, rude.
