After a not-so-impressive visit to the Hard Rock Cafe outlet in Bangalore, India, this was my second tryst with the franchise. We stopped by here for a round of snacks and refreshments on our way back from the Grand Canyon. True to tradition, the place was excellently decorated. Musical artefacts belonging to various famedmusicians decked up different portions of the walls. Electric guitars arranged in a circle hung about majestically from the ceiling. A section of the wall even had a drum set lined up against it. It was a Sunday evening, and probably that’s why the place wasn’t too crowded.We had a round of cocktails over a plate of nachos. The drink was refreshing, and the nachos fresh and crispy. But my fondest memory of this place would be the waiter who served us. He was aboisterous and affable guy, who seemed to betrying his best to liven up the thin crowd. Unfortunately, we were too tired after our trip for him to work his charm on, and didn’t contribute too much to the almost non-existent party ambience. Overall, it was a fun hour spent at HRC. Now I look forward eagerly to a visit to the one nearer to my home.
