Total lack of customer service.. Worst buffet I’ve ever dined at for customer service. When my wife asked to be seated away from a large family they proceeded to place us next to an obnoxious one instead. Then as we went to get our plates we were never acknowledge by our server for our beverage order. My wife had to hunt down someone to get us drinks. We were a little disgusted with the appearance of the floors and tables that were just left unkept. The most upsetting part is the numerous amount of children of all ages running freely as if it was a playground without supervision. As parents ourselves we were appalled with the lack of care. The food was the only positive outcome for this experience. I feel if more effort was placed in the customer service aspect of this company then I would feel expected to recommend it.
Sensitive people here complain about the littlest things. It’s big and it can get loud but know you could trust the food to be fresh tasty and hot. Who the hell goes to a Chinese buffet for politeness and good conversation anyway? Get a grip.
NOISY NOISY NOISY. Been to Lin’s maybe 3 times & ALWAYS enjoyed the variey of food & the great service. This last time in August I had to talk to 3 staff people before I got one person that spoke English. I thought it was a bit loud, but when I found that I couldn’t hear the person across the table talking because there was so much noise…. I was done. We left just to get away……. It may LOOK great, food may be good and as long as you don’t mind strainging to listen to the people you’re with & having to raise your voide to be heard….. then go for it….. It’s a LARGE restaurant, but NOT enjoyably peaceful enough to RELAX & HAVE A CONV ERSATION AT THE TABLE…. No more for me.
The Grill. Perhaps some of the buffet food is not that great ans i admit the first time i went there i didn’t like it very much…. however my honey convinced me to go again to try the grill. Now there you can chose what you want to put into your dish and they grill it fresh for you…and OMG the combination that my man puts together is mouth watering, lets see meat lamb and then the noodles with a bunch of vegetables: lots of mushrooms is what i love, then some bell pepper, cabbage, add a little spice and garlic …and that would make it the first dish i cleaned my plate…LIN’s buffet great GRILL! 🙂
RUDE. NICE ambience and clean restaurant. The food was ok. The price per person is excellent for the amount of food. But the person in charge of sitting us were so rude, She wants to sit us on the upper level and I want to sit down close to buffet and she gave me an attitude . No customer service at all. No manners. She should not be working in a place like this that has direct contact with customer. She didn:t even say hello or smile while sitting us. I don’t understand why she gives such Bad Attitude , I even asked her nicely if we can sit on the table I pointed out on her. Her face turned sour. She just turned her back as soon as she put down the fork and receipt in our table. . I was so mad. We went there today 4/9 friday at 11:00 A.m. I talked to one of the cashier (chinese guy) and told him how rude that person and he just keep telling me OK I hope someone will teach this person in charge of sitting customer to be more polite and nicer . The person assigned to us who gave us drinks was VERY VERY NICE AND VERY ATTENTIVE She always look at our table and ask if we wanted more drinks and when we left she even says thank you i wish I got her name. Thank you
WATER IS REALLY REALLY GOOD. My friend and I visited Lin’s on McDowell and 75th avenue yesterday — 040710 for lunch. The food was great as usual. The prices are reasonable. The wait staff is always good. This day, however, our waiter was exceptionally fantastic. Jose — the only waiter there with the name (i asked) — was right on the ball the whole time. Checking to see what we need, bringing drink refills without us having to ask, and keeping them strait who was drinkng what, bringk extra napkins witout prompting, clearing used dishes quickly. Jose was way more attentive and eager to please than the average wait staff person. Yes, I do notice and tip accordingly. Seldom do i find such outstanding wait staff — which prompted me to seek out his supervisor and give him a glowing review. Why? I feel the people in charge need to hear about their excellent employees as well as any complaints one may have. This day there were NO complaints, only praises. I do not recall seeing Jose there on prior visits, but will surely seeek out one hof his tables next time around. Prompt fantastic service and a friendly face sure makes a visit to Lin’s one I love to repeat.
Yuck. If you enjoy a place where you dont know what you’re eating and eating nothing but grease this is the place for you. The food, or shoud i say foods were drenched in gease. It was very disgusting, my family and i are always sketchy about eating at chinese buffet’s and this place reminded us why we never go to chinese buffet’s. Sincerely,Disgusted with Lin’s Buffet
