Mistress of the Perfect Fry…. Oh, man… Hit this place before they expand. By far one of the best fry-em-up fish joints I’ve been to. I swear you could put a fresh-fried piece on a clean sheet of bond paper and there would barely be any noticable grease. And the flavors were all outstanding. Catfish, whiting, and cod all delicious. Corn breading was perfect. English batter-dipped style was great. Both with a perfect crunch. Shrimp may have been FSA, but it made no matter to me. House made tartar and cocktail sauce, to boot. I even loved the spicy sauce on their wings. Friendly family in there, but no Mandy to be seen. It is in a real rough part of town; part industrial, part homeless wanderers, but it is sooo worth finding. I could have eaten a dozen filets. This is a guilty pleasure…
