Tacos de Juarez in Phoenix Arizona on a Monday afternoon at 3:30, let’s talk about the service..well since being 30 minutes before closing since they close early at 4:00 P.M which is weird being a Reaturant……. On Mondays my visit felt kind of rush. I order the trio #2 combo plate I ask for a chicken taco but they gave me a BEEF taco instead,It seemed very rushed together. THE waiter offer to replace with a chicken one but he didn’t seem like he really wanted too since it was past 4:00 and we were still there eating after it was closed. I asked for a Dr.pepper and the waiter told me they were out of it so I had no other choice to order something that I really didn’t want.(like really? They couldn’t have changed the Syrup box ? Lol) Also when given chips and salsa there was very little chips in bowl. The setting and vibe and in the restaurant was cold and the lighting was very dark. (Uncomfortable.) I honestly wish I could’ve wrote something better about this restaurant But that was my experience in the most honest way possible..Very bad experience. High price. Crappy food. I felt like this place is something filbertos would sell at lower price ..
An authentic and delicious hole in the wall. My green burrito was the best I’ve ever had! The salsa was good, the staff was friendly, and it looks like a total dump which is how you know it’s just legit good food! They had some homemade sweet potato candy which sealed the deal for me. So good!
The Beer was Cold!. Everything else was a disappointment. The place has gone downhill. Ordered Shrimp in a Chipotle Sauce. The shrimp were overcooked and tough. The sauce was OK but Waterey and the beans and rice were flavorless. The tortilla was not fresh. It was old and dried out. Not going back
Great food, seedy-looking location. This place doesn’t look like much, on the SE corner of 7th St and I-10. But inside, it’s very nice. The food is first rate, one of the top 5 mexican places in town. The chips and salsa come with fairly spicy red and green, and the servings are big and tasty. Eat here and you’ll feel like you know of Phoenix’s best-kept secrets. [2014 edit] My understanding is that the mother who owned the place passed away, and so her daughter (who is in her mid-20s) took over. She is doing a great job keeping the quality of the food at the same high level. If you are anywhere near downtown Phoenix, this place is worth a visit.
Great food! Dosen’t look like much from outside but it feels and taste like Mexico on the inside! Just good food!!!!!
