Decent food, horrible service.. Myself and my co-worker went here to have lunch today. We ordered the BBQ pork to share. The food was decent, the service was horrible. We waited 45 minutes, the waiter we saw 2 times, when he took our order and came to get our money. He wasn’t friendly or nice. And worse of all, when he took our money, we told him to give us our change back. He Didn’t come back to give us our change. It’s was only a dollar something, but he should not have assumed. I guess it’s a way to ensure he receives a tip from his horrible service, is by taking the money and not returning. I will not return and make sure to tell fellow co-workers not to step foot there.

A Disappointment. For awhile this was my preferred Thai destination for Downtown after the closure of Thai Elephant. Today’s meal came as a surprise and not in a good way. The portion size (especially the vegetables) seem to be cut back leaving the plate fairly empty, even the presentation was lackluster I asked for medium to hot it came off as mild-medium. It was busy service was slow. Finally I seemed be overcharged for my meal by about a dollar but being I was in a rush it was hardly the time to complain. I hope this doesn’t become the stand experience here.17 Nov, 2012A good alternate choice for Downtown Thai. They won’t replace my favorite Thai, but they were certainly quite tasty. Service was a bit abysmal the Friday. the den mom had to remind her staff to keep my water filled, my silverware and napkin was entirely forgot and rice given was barely enough. The Fresh Vegetable Chili, however tasted as it name implied fresh vegetables and tasty chilies along with a good cuts of chicken. I am not sure I like the fixed pricing but overall I am pleased with what I received.

Quick and Delicious. Good food, good location, a quick in-and-out stop for a lunch order to go. Just the right amount of spice. A word to the wise however, they do not deliver during lunch hours.

This is what I look for in a Thai restaurant. The food was excellent, service was very prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable. Also, most Thai restaurants have a run-down look about them. Thai Basil was clean and inviting. I give it two thumbs up!

Delicious red curry and pad thai. Salad not so much.
