Place was amazing! The scallops were part of the one of the best meals Ive ever had. The service was great, the drinks were good, the atmosphere was fun, and it is right downtown. In walking distance of most of the hotels, and totally worth the trip. I will come back anytime I am in Phoenix.
Tried to go here last night, but the wait was long. Made reservations tonight. Pretty delicious. Started with a Butcher Platter–assortment of meats and cheese, other varied appetizers (including deviled eggs!). Tried the short rib green chili stew. It was excellent, with a little spice, and a fried egg on top. Had to order the salted caramel pudding. Was way overfull, but it was worth it.
We are looking for a place to eat downtown and chose this place. The food was very good,but a tad on the expensive side considering we are in downtown Phoenix though it may be right for the rent and location. My steak was good really tasty and the smashed potatoes were as well. We enjoyed a bottle of Zinfandel while we waited for the X-Ambassadors to make their appearance. The server was very good and saw to all our needs as they are supposed to.

Unmet expectations. We heard this was THE place to go several years ago. This trip we were finally able to work it in. We researched the menus online, including drink and happy hour. We sat at the bar. Dirty glasses remained until I removed them. Despite four fellows working behind the bar, it took quite some time before we were acknowledged. We did not get the menus we had seen online. We ordered an appetizer. The manager explained that IT had erred regarding the menus. While the shrimp appetizer was fine, the experience was not what we anticipated. We returned to the Sheraton where we were warmly welcomed, sat at a clean table, and had excellent food (braised short ribs) and service.
Great food and service!. It was the first time for my family and I at the Arrogant Butcher. What a great time! The food was great. It came to us as we were told it would, just perfect. Our server Wesley was the greatest person to talk to. He went over all the specials and answered all our questions about the menu. We never had to look for him for anything we wanted, he was always there asking us if we needed anything. With great food and service like we got from Wesley, we will be returning to the Arrogant Butcher again and again!
Went for happy hour. We ordered the mussels,toasts,and hummus. Are three were fantastic. I will be coming back for dinner definitely.
