Coffee rush. Good coffee, great service. The only downside for me, everyone outside smokes, so if you don’t like smoke, drink inside. It’s worth a try.
Not good. In my opinion this coffee is not very good- it tasted super powdery and fake. I don’t like feeling like I’m drinking chalk. The service was good though 🙂
Great indy coffee house. I love any coffee place that isn’t a corporate cookie cutter. This place is exceptional..great location on a lake….very clean and the staff is very friendly. The coffee itself is good, not great. the foo foo drinks same as any coffee place…hey, this ain’t brain surgery. What sets it apart is the huge number of regulars i seeevery morning despite a parking lot that is anything but user friendly. I love to sit out by the lake, sip my cup of fresh java and smoke a fine cigar while reading the paper or chatting with a friend….nice to slow down and take life in instead of the usual hurry hurry hurry. Look for Yanni behind the counter in the morning..the chicks love him and he is loaded with personality…a great guy.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Been coming to this place for months now… to meet with my friends or customers… and have seen lot’s of bad customer service – have seen people being kicked out of place for coming over with their friends and not wanting to buy anything… I understand it’s a business – but if 5 friends came over – and 1 didn’t want to buy anything … that one had to LEAVE the coffee shop… WOW – That really surprised me…Then just few days ago – I went back there – and bought water and dessert – and requested Internet pass for my laptop… I was told that I can’t get one – because I spent only $3 and didn’t buy any of the MENU items?… WOW – That really surprised me… I was going to tip him with the other $2 bucks I had… but that really blow me off…I can’t accept this kind of customer service – and will never go there again….
Coffee is not good. I’ve had coffee there several times when an old friend used to study there daily… I thought the coffee was average at best.You can get a decent milk-based coffee drink anywhere and they have no clue how to make espresso (almost one one does so this is no surprise).
Pretty good place. It’s a pretty nice place, the coffee was ok!! I have had worse. It was and enjoyable experience over all.
