Tasteless tacos. My husband & I took our out of town guest here for dinner last Saturday night. Our waiter was attentive and the drinks came quickly along with water. As did the chips and salsas. So no complaints there. However our dinners were not so positive. My husband and I both ordered tacos…his ground beef, mine fish. They both came on the worst, out of a box, prefab, flavorless corn tortilla shells we’ve ever tasted My husband opted not to request a change. He’d rather suffer in silence. I on the other hand asked the waiter to please have the kitchen change mine to soft flour tortillas. The beans were flavorless, the rice sticky and both were barely lukewarm. Our guest said that his dinner was fine but we could tell he was not enjoying it all that much. We were to say the least disappointed and hesitate to go back unless things change. The tortillas should be fresh and all the food should be a lot more flavorful and served hot not warm.

Nothing special. Do not get the fajitas – they have a very strange flavor.

Bad service!. My daughter and I thought we would try out this restaurant since it is around the corner from our house. We picked Taco Tuesday and figured it would be really crowded since they offer $1.00 tacos and $2.00 drafts (Wow!!!). But we were surprised that it was not busy and we were seated right away. This should have been a warning… The seated us in the bar area that had a large party of about 15 sitting across from us. They had children ranging in age from infant to about 9. The adults were all drinking heavily and the kids were running amok. Even though this is a family restaurant KIDS SHOULD NOT BE IN THE BAR AREA! The next thing that was bad was the service. Our server took our order and then brought us our drinks with no delay and then he disappeared. We watched the table behind us get seated, order, get their food and finish and our server still had not come back. We finally flagged him down and he asked if we wanted another round. We told hiim we had not ever gotten our food and he said he would check on it. The taco shells were kinda oil soaked and tough and chewy. Once we got our tacos we had to wait another 10 minutes for salsa and he never brought us napkins or limes for our beer. I had to finally find another server to get us the things we needed. The prices are great but the service is horrible and not worth the aggravation.

Typical chain restaurant food. Nothing special, but decent for the price. Service was poor in the bar area tonight. Not likely to come back.

Good stuff. I like it here. Service is good. and the food is good. Good portions expecially there lunch menu. And I love Taco Tuesday’s. Made with real taco shells, not those paper tasting store bought kind. I have eaten mexican food all my life but like anything you will have good and bad experiences. If there was a complaint is that they don’t offer a ‘to go’ cup for drinks, or should i say a big enough size ‘to go’ cup. I do think the salsa could be spicier but overall the food is good and feel is very cool. Love the mexican music being piped in too.

The most mundane Mexican food I’ve ever had. Both salsas were weak, at best, and the bean dip was suspect. I ordered the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. All this plate had going for it was that it was warm. The chimi was filled with, what tasted like plain boiled chicken, and queso blanco. To combat the lack-luster filling, it was piled with lettuce, tomato, guacamole and sour cream giving the plate a pleasant enough appearance. Although most of the ingredients seemed to be fresh, the guacamole’s brown tint gave away its true self. The service was decent, but nothing special. We will not be returning.
