Awesome happy hour specials. $2 beer and $2.50 well. Friendly crowd and a nice place to sit on the patio and relax. Love the fried pretzels!
My favorite local bar in the valley.
Even for bar food, this was horrible. Having grown up in a city with lots of bars with great food, we thought we would try this bar with a Boston owner. Unfortunetly, he is bringing shame to his city. I have never in my life had french fries burned so badly. It is not like they were just crunchy on the outside, they were rock hard. All of us at the table had severly overburnt food that left us disappointed, sad, and hungry for something edible!! Pass on this establishment, there are too many good restaurants to bother with Nate’s!
Great place to go with the girls. Staff is friendly and the crowd is fun and non creepy. Food is good, and available til 2 am. Plus beer is 2.00 at happy hour!
Home Run. While looking for a local hangout you always want a comfortable atmosphere without feeling like your wallet is being tugged out from under you. Nate’s is it. Daily specials, Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour, lunch specials ($5 burger and beer or soda) during the week and even food specials during big games. ($8.99 Steak tips for the win). The staff is friendly and always able to provide a suggestion for food or drink. Also most of the staff hangs out off shift with the customers or to enjoy a game. I was informed of several catering options and that they are always looking for live entertainment options for the customers (as long as they won’t have to charge a hefty sum at the door to supply it).I don’t normally go to sites like this but was stunned to hear about some nasty reviews for this place. I admit it’s not your usual spot, its not some Scottsdale high society faux bar. Some people probably won’t like the Boston sports decor.Don’t let these reviews sway you from trying it out for yourself.Side Note: Catcalls2010… I snooped around online; you hit almost every review site known and never say anything nice. Maybe you should just stay home and order pizza.
FOULED OUT–. BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, BAD EXPERIENCE.. They were out of most everything we tried to order, INCLUDING BEER! So we settled on burgers and wings. 45 minutes for our food to arrive–COLD and over-cooked. It seems the new owners of this doomed location don’t give a damn about cleaning, either. The restrooms are filthy. If the restrooms are THAT dirty, who knows what condition the kitchen may be in! This was our 2nd try for this neighborhood hang out. We won’t give Nate’s a 3rd try.
Nate’s needs help. This is like the 10th bar that has tried this spot…and like all the others they are burdened by terrible parking..but even worse food and service. The food was simply terrible. It is like a bunch of friends decided to open up a bar..and hang out together….and they are bugged by the few customers that do wander in. Just bad bar food in a very bad bar. Good luck Nate’s!
